JOURNALIST ARRESTED REVEALING SECRET POLICY PRACTISE

Tunisia correspondent for "La Croix" and "Agence Periscoop Syfia"
Taoufik Ben Brik, was arrested and taken to offices of the Secretaire
d'Etat de L'Interieur on 18 June. This follows his article published
in "La Croix" about various practices of the secret police. He was
made to wait for three hours. During the half hour chat with the
Secretaire he was informed to find a new job in the next three days.
It is unknown what will happen if he does not take the advice given.
The International Federation of Journalists have not yet sent out a protest.
