I have received your e-mail, which i've noted.

The University shall follow all due processes that are within its power to deal with Mr khan. We shall not withdraw disciplinary charges. We are going to proceed with this matter accordingly and as Vice-Chancellor, I shall not allow myself and the institution to be intimidated or cowed by ill-informed and distorted comments from the Freedom of Expression Institute. I would advise you and your institute to be properly appraised of the facts of the matter.

I hope the Freedom of Expression Institute shall respect the Codes of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures of the University rather than meddle and interfere with matters that are not of your mandate.
