Will the app work on your device? The quick and simple answer is this: the app works better on newer phones. If you have a phone that is more than 10 years old, then it may not work. Our final opinion on the YesPlay App

This is a great app for people who want to bet on sports or play lotteries. Here’s what we liked most about YesPlay.

1. Amazing layout: this app has the best layout we’ve seen on a South African betting site. It’s obvious that a great deal of care and attention was put into the design. We also like the colour scheme and attractive icons.

2. Awesome promotions: like most online casinos, YesPlay has a wide variety of promotions. Some of these include

• A 100% deposit bonus for new players (the minimum deposit is R20 and the maximum is R3,000)

• There’s also a daily prize drop for people who play slots. With this bonus you could win monthly prizes worth more than R500 million

• People who play lotteries can get a 10% cashback bonus. This gives you 10% of your losses every Monday after the draw

• Lottery players can also get free bets. Place a wager of R40 and you’ll get R10 in free bets

• For every R50 that you bet on the South African Powerball, you’ll get 50 free bets

• There’s also a special offer for new players. If you bet R15, you can bet on 20 lucky numbers (this gives you 5 free bets.)

Honestly, we loved everything about this app from the sign up process to the layout. Finding anything to criticize is difficult. That being said, there were a few things that we didn’t like:

1. Limited deposit bonus: YesPlay gives you a 100% deposit bonus, but this has a cap of R3,000. That won’t be a problem for most people, but it can put off high rollers
2. Mostly for sports betting: this app is made and built for sports betting. Yes, you can play other casino games, but the selection and setup isn’t great. If you’re not betting on sports, then another casino might be better
3. No horse racing: this might sound strange, but there’s no way to bet on horse racing. Why isn’t this available? We have no idea. But if you want to bet on the horses, you’ll have to go somewhere else
